My name is Becky S., I’m 21 and I live near San Diego, CA. And I’ve been blogging for a number of years. Many of my friends (and my parents friends) have asked my about blogging in the past.So I’ve put this small website together to help you through the “Pre-Blogging” stages.
About this site
This site is called PreBlogging.com, a guide for people who want to know how to start blogging. I do mention here that you can make money from blogging, maybe not enough to quit the day job, but I’m sure it could be worth a few beers at the end of the month at least. I wrote the blogging guide when I was putting together a new blog, namely my photo blog. So this site was based on the notes I took down when setting it up.
My Posts
You might want to begin exploring the site by reading some of the more popular posts. The newest articles are on the front page, and you can also browse the title of every post I’ve ever written. I try to keep my posts as simplistic as possible, focusing on the steps one should take when you are a blogger. If you have any questions, you can leave them in the comments section of the post and I will put my reply in there.
About Me
Here are some of my interests in no particular order : Pretending I’m somewhere else, Playing Piano, Mountain Biking, Outdoor Adventure, Spinning, Music, Reading, Fresh Fish, Beer, Whiskey, Movies, Hazelnut Coffee , Espresso Coffee, Buffalo Chicken Wraps & Blogging.
What I use
Here on the site we display ads from Google AdSense ( ) and I get visitors to the site by using Google AdWords ( ) and buying text link ads (more info here) on other webpages. These two methods help to bring in visitors, without a great big effort.
Future Plans
In the future I would like to expand this site and provide an even better overview on how you can get started blogging. Keep an eye on the [advanced blogging] section. I hope to expand my reviews section, and if you would like a review, please read here. If you would like a review, contact me now !
