Female Bloggers List

I’ve just been listed #4 on a list from Enkay, called the Top 6 Female Bloggers. Personally I was surprised (and honored) that someone would consider myself worthy of being part of such list. But I guess it shows that my hard work in the last 2 months is starting to pay off and that readers are enjoying what I write about.

The Blogger Chicks

So here is a quick run down of the list from Enkay, do check out the original post here for more of a description:

  4. http://www.preblogging.com yeah go me !
  5. http://www.susansuarez.com/
  6. http://sambreadstone.com/

These blogs (including mine) are well worth checking out, as there is a world of information there.

More Female Bloggers

After reading it I was trying to think of some of the other female bloggers that I like, so here are some worth checking out. These are not in any particular order, they are just taken from my google reader :

Does anyone have any other suggestions about other female bloggers ?

    Hey Becky,
Thank you very much for blogging about this! I really appreciate it. Also, I have gotten in touch with Mark myself to help improve the list he has going and hopefully I will be working on that with him in the future. As for now, I am strongly considering starting a Top List of Female bloggers and have it as a page on my blog. I am sure that it would be an interesting viral marketing scheme considering I wouldn’t want to re-do what Mark has done with the Top 100 Money Making Blogs. So, when the list is put together I will definitely include some of the bloggers that you have mentioned and I am sure that as the word gets out that more female bloggers will be adding themselves to the list! Thanks again for the mention!

Hi Becky - thanks for including me on your list. I too would love to see a female bloggers list, as the blogsphere seems to be largely dominated by males.

Thanks for much for including me in your reader, and on this list!… I’ve got a few other blogs as well, and a child, so I’m a busy female blogger! I love the idea of the top 100 female bloggers - of course I know about 100 female bloggers myself, so the list could probably be a lot bigger to get all the good ones.
    thanks again!
    Michelle #2.

Wow, thanks so much for including me on your list! I’m so honored!

Are you looking specifically for “influencial” women bloggers, technical bloggers, or just really darned GOOD bloggers?

If you decide to go ahead with a project like this, I’d love to help!

Wow, you deem me worthy?! Thanks! I also agree with Shaun, Sara at Bluejar.com is awesome.

Hi Becky, I was thinking - you should compile the list as it just doesn’t make sense to get a man to do it.

I’ve blogged about it and linked to five more female bloggers who weren’t already on your list. If everyone joining the list could do this, we’d create a massive female bloggers list.

Here are the five I added.

    JoLynn: The Fit Shack
    Asako: Before The Hatch
Kathy Sierra - Creating Passionate Users - it would be great to see her blogging again.
    Shona - Rich Minx
    Gala Darling - Icing

Thank you, Catherine, to mention my site!

Becky, nice meeting you over blogging.

Before I started blogging, I never thought female is a minority in the blog world. In fact, I assumed female should be the majority with our passion and skills for expressing ourselves!

Thank you for the list, I am looking forward to visit all of them in the next few hours.

    Hi Becky,

Great idea to put this list together, I found you through Catherine Lawson’s post about it….I’d also add Wendy Piersall, and Lola Fayemi. :)

Congratulations! And the female bloggers list sounds like a great idea, too.

I’m a female blogger but often times I get called a ‘he’. LOL :)

I’d love to be included in your female blog list. I just started a blog a couple of months ago - some postings are in English and some in Spanish (I’m the co-owner of a small EFL school and the blog is intentionally bilingual). I don’t know the first thing about SEO but am eager to read and learn as much as I can. Our blog posts are about life, art, literature, learning, anything of interest.

    Hi Becky,

Thanks for this post. I was sent here thru a post I’ve seen on wahm.com bloggers section. I definitely want to be on the list too. I also joined (45n5.com) Mark’s Top 100 Make Money Online Blogs. My blog is fairly new, so I go from Number 158 to now Number 166 on that list, I think. :)

Thank you and it will be an honor to be added on the Female Bloggers List too.

This is a great idea! There are so many wonderful female bloggers but so few are recognized! I author three blogs and would love to be considered for your list:

    http://www.marketingblurb.com
    http://www.brandcurve.com
    http://www.disneyfamiliesandmore.wordpress.com

Since I blog mainly about business-related topics, I always feel in the minority among the male-dominated business world. The cultural bias carries over from the office to the blogosphere.

I don’t see Deborah Ng or Liz Strauss? Both Liz Strauss and Deborah Ng are extremely popular probloggers.

Liz Strauss, of course, blogs for the Successful blog and many worthy blog new sites and Deb Ng has the amazing Freelance Writing Jobs blog plus she blogs for About Weblogs, Performancing and has guest blogged for Darren Rowse.

And Gayla McCord. Don’t forget Gayla McCord.

Seriously though, you can’t discuss female bloggers without Den and Liz.
