Christmas Competition with Host Color

If you are thinking of getting started blogging in the near future, or you are thinking of moving from one of the free blog platforms, then this competition. My very nice (and first) sponsor, HostColor.com Hosting, has two great prizes on offer. They are giving me not one but two prizes for some of my lucky readers. I’m not really a great fan of these competitions, hence I haven’t really had one before. But when HostColor offered this to me I couldn’t say no ! This competition could be the step in the right direction which could get some one started blogging seriously with their own independent blogging setup.
Each prize is worth $35, and will give you everything you need to have your own blog for one year.
Prize Contents
The winner will get everything to get them started with blogging, so you will get a .COM or a .NET or a .ORG domain of your choice, along with hosting. Plus they will also get the following:
How to Enter
To keep it simple, we just have two rules
- 1 Entry : Leave a comment in here (don’t forget to have a proper email address).
- 1 Extra Entry : write a post from your free blog (hosted wordpress, blogspot/blogger) about this competition, and mention Host Color.
- 3 Extra Entries : if you subscribe to the updates here via email. See the red box to the right.
Competition Rules
- The competition is open to everyone.
- Winners will be asked to have a link back to the sponsor in their footer or blog roll
- Entries are accepted until Tuesday 18th December 2007 midnight.
- Winners will be picked by me at random and will be announced on Wednesday 19th December 2007 here.

Is this contest still open? It would be nice to join it. I really have been looking for a way to get started with my sports blog but I don’t like to use blogger/blogspot anymore. I thought having a domain of your own would just be ok but it really isn’t.
