I’ve seen this mentioned on sites before, but I am okay with uploading the file, and overwriting the data.

I normally have my FTP and SSH client open to the server the whole day anyway.

Maybe for people who are new to wordpress it would be a great pilugin. (thanks for the coment WarriorBlog )

You might want to check out the Automatic Update wordpress plug-in if you don’t want to update manually.

Took me only 1-2 minutes to update Love the plugin.
